Excellent roads run along the Rhine River in Germany. Tourists can
rent a car at the Frankfurt Airport and drive to Mainz (on the Rhine) in
less than one hour.
A driving vacation allows tourists to visit the many
castles and other tourist attractions in the Rhine Valley. Because the
towns along the Rhine are relatively small, parking is generally not an
issue in most communities.
