Rheinfels Castle is certainly one of the most spectacular German castles
to be found on the Rhine River. Dating as far back as 1245, this
enormous castle has everything one would expect a castle to have: a moat,
courtyards, secret tunnels and underground chambers. Visitors can tour
both the fortifications and the castle itself.
