A long network of tunnels run under the Rheinsfels Castle in the Loire
Valley. These interesting tunnels from the 14th century are open to
the public and are fascinating to explore. As some of tunnels are
unlit, it is a good idea to bring along a flashlight. Tourists should
be careful not to hit their heads on the ceilings as the Rheinfels tunnels
were definitely not designed for tall people!
